Lorena Permuy Lorena is a registered architect and has both public and private sector experience in architectural design, architectural research and preservation. Her professional preservation experience includes renovations, rehabilitations and adaptive-reuse with numerous building types and has included work in programming, project development and the regulatory review process involved in historic preservation. Lorena has been a Board Member of the Latrobe Chapter, the local chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians and Vice-President of the Historic Preservation Planning Alumni of Cornell Univeristy. Lorena holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Notre Dame University and a Masters degree in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell Univerisity, where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate.
