Don Swofford, FAIA. Don has over 39 years of experience in the fields of restoration, rehabilitation, and traditional design. He is a member of the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves as Chair of the AIA’s National Historic Resources Committee's Steering Committee. He has numerous citations and commendations for historic rehabilitation of National Historic Landmarks, which include the Loudoun County Preservation Society Award, the James River Chapter Design Award, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation Great Homes of America Award. Don holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas A & M, and a Masters degree in Architectural History from the University of Virginia. |
