Local Historic Preservation |
Project planning and design are often affected by historic preservation laws and guidelines. Project and permit approval often involve historic districts, historic preservation offices, façade easement organizations, neighborhood commissions, and in DC, often the Commission of Fine Arts and the Old Georgetown Board.
DC historic preservation policy practices are not always transparent or consistent. We have conducted an extensive analysis of DC historic preservation policies and resulting decisions over the past 8 years, and can assist you in project preparation that is consistent with these policies.
