This original tin-clad porch roof on a 1912 rowhouse had deteriorated beyond any repair. The poured concrete floor and supports had shifted, leaving the metal columns at a slanted angle and with integrated gutters that would not drain. The wooden structure underneath the tin cladding had rotted after years of water absorption.
